History
WooCommerce was first released by a small company called WooThemes in September 2011. It was founded by Adii Pienaar, Magnus Jepson, and Mark Forrester. The founders were all based in Cape Town, South Africa. The initial version of WooCommerce was released as a free plugin on the WordPress repository, and it quickly gained popularity. It offered a lot of features and customization options.

Requirements are WordPress version 6.3 or great, PHP version 5.67 or greater and MariaDB version 10.4 or greater.
